In the presence of an energy source, cooking oil transforms into a hot liquid. During the early twentieth century, cooking oil was first introduced into our kitchens. The reason for this was to provide a substitute for animal fats, which were becoming scarce as a result of industrialization and urbanization and were being replaced by vegetable oils as a result of these developments. A significant time and cost-saving was achieved by using oils derived from plants, which did not require any refining or processing during the extraction process.

Unfortunately, their manufacturing does not stop at the front door of the restaurant. Culinary oils have a significant carbon footprint that can be traced all the way back to our landfill sites and the oceans where they were produced.
Cleaning your used cooking oil before disposing of it is the most effective way to ensure that you are not contributing to the production of cooking oil in the future.
